Our Resources page exists to provide parents, scholars and our community partners the information they need to stay updated on important information surrounding our Academy. Here, students can access assignments, calendars, their email accounts, and more. Parents can get access forms, virtual learning information, and receive important updates from administrators on school affecting schedules and campus events. We recognize our Community Programs and partners for their relentless support of our mission, and make accessing our online learning portal convenient for our scholars and their families. You can even show your support by giving in support of the CCLCS mission.

At Jacksonville Lighthouse Charter School - Flightline, and respect the unique needs of our students and community. We are committed to ensuring the accessibility of our web content to people with disabilities. All content on our website will conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA.

This policy applies to all new, updated, and existing web content on https://capitalcity.lha.net and all content on our teacher sites and intranet. Accessibility checks and training will be incorporated into the publishing workflow for all new website content. In addition, we will ensure third-party content providers are aware of our web accessibility policy and will favor providers based on their accessibility conformance claims.

Each page of the website will include a link to a form providing a method for users to submit feedback on the site; this information will be compiled and considered during the review process. Any accessibility issues should be reported to Name at email or by using the posted form.

AMI Day Information

Kindergarten

Lighthouse Academies is one of multiple school districts in the state that has been approved to provide students with Alternative Methods of Instruction, or AMI, in the event the Superintendent cancels school for emergency circumstances, including inclement weather. Act 862 of 2017 allows the Commissioner of Education to grant "up to the equivalent of 10 student attendance days" for districts with approved lesson plans for AMI.

Lighthouse Academies fully complies with state law. When AMI is activated, the assignments have to be completed and returned within 5 days after students return to school. Failure to return work will result in the student's being marked absent for the inclement weather day.
